"Connected Cities in a Disconnected World?" A distinguished Panel Discussion Chaired By Christian May, Editor of City AM
Christian May, the editor of City AM, will chair a panel of some of the most innovative thinkers in the world of connectivity and business. Martina King of Featurespace, Foo Chi Hsia the Singapore High Commissioner, Oliver Lewis Co-founder of Rebellion Defense , and Alderman Michael Mainelli of Z/Yen
The Lord Mayor Peter Estlin chose the bold and optimistic theme of The Connected City for his year in office. It is a message he has carried around the world, and used to emphasise the role that London can and will play in the future.
But is the world going in the opposite direction? Are connected cities swimming against a world-wide tide creating isolation and barriers? If connectivity is to be at the heart of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the engine for the 21st century, how does it fight against the walls being thrown up by demands for sovereignty and security?
The Financial Services Group of Livery Companies, who represent the modern financial and professional services of the City of London, presents in partnership with Schroders’ and the FS Club, this challenging panel discussion, and cordially invite you and your guests to join us for a fully participatory debate and enjoyable networking event.
This event is held in partnership with Schroders and the FS Club.
